The Altar Ring (Size 8 1/2)

The Altar Ring: inspired by the many handcrafted altar boxes I admired on the trip, often jumbled together with whatever rock shards lay around, but filled with magic. I was so enamored by all the manganese glass that had turned ultra-violet in the desert sun, seen often adorning cemeteries - I found a couple loose shards out at the Diablo trestle, and they came to live on in jewels. The handmade + stamped ring band adorned with a favorite gravestone passage "away on the trip we all must take" Given a patina to give it an antiqued, high contrast look, my maker's mark on the inside of the band. 🌾💛
