The Ferns and Moss Bracelet (OOAK)

This listing is for a ONE OF A KIND bracelet from the Magic of the Swamp - LIGHT Collection.

This bracelet is my tribute to the "Ferns and Moss". 

I don't even really know how to express my connection to ferns and moss, other than its the most consistent link between my birth home of the redwood forests in Northern California and my chosen home of the swamp in New Orleans, Louisiana. Endless varieties of both that constantly inspire and make me feel like I can breath, and am always at home. 

Made of all sterling silver, I hand cut and textured a piece of fern, designed after the Crested Wood Fern, to wrap around the edge of the most incredible lichen covered stone. Design details around the stone were made to give the impression of fiddleheads.  This weighty pendant has an equally weighty band. I've hand stamped designs onto this really durable rectangular wire band. A light layer of patina has been added to heighten the contrast of this piece, it was given a cypress oil and wax coating to help keep it in place and to satisfy the senses of smells from the swamp.
