In this "ode to fire" collection I have included a few water elements, because for my birthday every year this firey Leo tries to balance with spending it in water. Two years ago I did so by camping in Florida, dipping in its fresh water springs and... fossil hunting on it's beaches. I collected quite a lovely array of fossilized sharks teeth on the trip, and I've decided to make an offering of two of them into this collection. It's a release from the ashes afterall.
 
The second tooth makes it's appearance in this large cuff. A sharks tooth, black like charred wood, set in a serrated bezel, rests beneath the most bealutiful, shimmering teardrop Golden Sheen Obsidian stone. When the light hits this stone, it is MAGIC. Above the stone, three arched, scalloped ray stamps rest. Below, to larger ray stamps and a central sterling silver ball detail, to match those amidst the raised round wire framing along the sides of the pendant. A pendant that rests on a trinity sterling bands.  A thick rope band central to the two half rounds with simple stamp details next to the pendant and back of the cuff alike. A breathtaking piece, truly.  Given a patina to give it an antiqued, high contrast look, my maker's mark on the inside of the cuff.
